ATLANTA (AP) - Seven people have been arrested after a double shooting and standoff in Atlanta.

Atlanta Police Capt. James D. Patterson tells local media that around 1 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a report of a person shot in front of a northwest Atlanta home. Once on scene, police found two victims - a teenage girl was shot in her torso and a man was shot in his ankle.

The suspects fled into a nearby home. Officers requested help from an Atlanta police tactical team, which surrounded the home.

Patterson says that after hours of negotiation, seven people surrendered to police.

Both victims are listed in good condition at Grady Memorial Hospital.

The incident remains under investigation. Further details haven’t been released.
