BONO, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a man and woman from Walnut Ridge were killed when a car was struck by a train in northeast Arkansas.

The Craighead County Sheriff’s Office told reporters that Bill Rush and Mary Rush died in the collision Tuesday night near Bono, about 115 miles (185 kilometers) northeast of Little Rock. The sheriff’s office says the two were in a car that was eastbound on County Road 398 when it collided with a train that was traveling north.

The sheriff’s office says both victims were killed in the collision.
