WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. (AP) - One of four victims of a highway shooting just outside St. Louis has died.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/2ueNi7j ) reports that 20-year-old Shamarcus McCullough died Tuesday of injuries from the shooting. Police say at least two other victims suffered gunshot wounds, and won’t say how the third person was hurt. Police aren’t identifying them.

Police say the four were traveling on Interstate 44 in Webster Groves Sunday when someone in another vehicle fired shots at them. A police source alleges an argument at a Eureka gas station led to the shooting. Police were provided with surveillance images from the gas station that captured the altercation.

Olivette Lt. Dave Wolf says the motivation for the shooting is still unknown.

Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis says the investigation is ongoing.
