MACUNGIE, Pa. (AP) - Prosecutors say a teenager has been adjudicated delinquent in an involuntary manslaughter case in what they called the accidental shotgun shooting death of another teen in Pennsylvania.
The 16-year-old was charged in Lehigh County with the misdemeanor count in the April 8 shooting death of 17-year-old Chris Perez in Lower Macungie Township in eastern Pennsylvania.
District Attorney Jim Martin said in a statement that the youth was sent to a juvenile facility after a juvenile court hearing Wednesday that wasn’t open to the public.

Prosecutors said the youth was with Perez and others when Perez asked to see a shotgun, then handed it back. They said the teen, who had said it was unloaded, waved it and pointed it in the direction of the victim, and it discharged.
