PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh police say three people have been wounded at a low-income apartment complex after one resident asked some people outside to leave.

Police didn’t immediately release the names of those shot at Allegheny Commons about 5 a.m. Thursday. The 136-unit complex is on the city’s North Side, next to a historic park of the same name.

Officers responding to the shooting found a 25-year-old man wounded in the foot and a 35-year-old woman shot in the thigh. After investigating more, they found a 24-year-old man inside a nearby residence who had been shot in the knee. Police say that man had asked the others to leave the area, prompting an exchange of gunfire.

Police haven’t named any suspects.

All three victims were taken to hospitals in stable condition.
