Woman allegedly throws bleach-like liquid in someone’s face

MILFORD, Del. (AP) - Police in Delaware say a woman accused of throwing a liquid, believed to be bleach, in someone’s face has been charged.

Local news outlets reported on Friday that according to Milford police 19-year-old Gabrielle Knight is charged with third degree assault, reckless endangering and criminal mischief under $1,000 after turning herself in. Police say the victim had minor injuries.

WXDE-FM reports that Milford police responded on July 9 to a reported assault at an apartment complex. Arriving officers learned a Milford woman allegedly ran toward the victim and threw the liquid in their face. WBOC-TV reports the victim is a woman.

Knight is scheduled to appear in August at a court of common pleas. It’s unclear if she has an attorney.
