WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Police say a 29-year-old man was shot in the arm and leg after an altercation in Delaware.

Police say the man was in Wilmington Saturday morning when he was approached by another man. Police say the suspect got into a verbal dispute with the victim and then pulled a gun. Police say the two men then got into a physical altercation and the victim was able to flee.

Police say the suspect shot at the man as he was running, hitting him in the arm and leg.



The victim sought help inside a home, where he was found by police. Police say he was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact authorities.
