Fairbanks man dies in Parks Highway crash north of Healy

HEALY, Alaska (AP) - A Fairbanks man died in a two-vehicle crash north of Healy on the Parks Highway.

Alaska State Troopers say 31-year-old Justin Yurong died in the crash early Saturday night near Mile 254.

Yurong was alone in a sport utility vehicle heading south. Troopers say he crossed the centerline and struck a motorhome driven by 67-year-old Jack Gannon of Spokane, Washington.

Yurong was pronounced dead at the scene. No one in the motorhome was injured.

Both vehicles were demolished.
