ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a man shot last week as he pushed a shopping cart full of cans and bottles down a Rochester street has died of his injuries.

Officials say 62-year-old Craig Dyer died Sunday after suffering critical injuries Wednesday.

Sixty-five-year-old Robert Jackson has been charged in connection with the shooting. Court documents allege that he shot Dyer in the forehead with a revolver. It’s not clear if the men knew each other.

Jackson is being held at the Monroe County Jail. It couldn’t immediately learned from authorities if he has a lawyer who could comment on the charges.
