WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2w1XihK ) emergency crews responded around 1 p.m. Wednesday to reports of an ATV crash along Flume Brook Trail in Dixville. New Hampshire Fish and Game conservation officers say 29-year-old Ashalee James, of Central Islip, New York was riding with a group when she fell 60 feet down an embankment.

Officials say the woman suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. James was initially transported to Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook and has since been transferred to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

Authorities say James was wearing a helmet and eye protection while she was operating the ATV. Police say alcohol impairment was not a factor in the crash.
