CATLETTSBURG, Ky. (AP) - Two inmates who escaped from a Kentucky jail have been caught, but two others remain on the run.

Boyd County Detention Center jailer Joe Burchett tells local media that 26-year-old Timothy Bates, 28-year-old Zachary King, 28-year-old Robert Rains and 32-year-old Jeremie Deboard escaped Sunday around 4 a.m. King and Deboard were found Sunday afternoon in Flatwoods.

Burchett says the inmates escaped by removing a bathroom light fixture, breaking through into a mop closet and exiting out the back of the building.

Two of the inmates may have been transported to Cannonsburg. Boyd County Sheriff Bobby Woods says that Bates may have been spotted in Westwood.

Each inmate had been jailed on drug charges, and none has past convictions for violent felonies. It’s unclear if any of them has an attorney.
