GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Police are searching for the suspect in a triple shooting that left two men dead in North Carolina.

The Winston-Salem Journal reports that police took out arrest warrants Sunday against 23-year-old Trevorn Daqwain Pinckney for two counts of first-degree murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon. The charges stem from a Saturday night shooting that killed 27-year-old Tony Stevens Martin Jr. and 26-year-old LaTony McCants and left 25-year-old Quintis Jamar Mickel in critical condition.

Greensboro Police Department spokeswoman Susan Danielsen says none of the three victims lived at the apartment complex where the shooting took place. She says the four men apparently knew each other.

Witnesses told police that the shooter fought with the three men before pulling a gun and opening fire.

The investigation is ongoing.
