BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - An Alabama woman has been shot to death at her apartment complex.
AL.com reports that the woman was found dead Sunday around 10 p.m. in east Birmingham after officers responded to a report of someone possibly shot multiple times.
Police say they are in the early stages of investigation, and do not know what happened. The unidentified victim was shot on the pavement outside the complex.
An unidentified man was wounded in the shooting but was gone when police arrived. Police say he is at UAB Hospital, but the extent of his injuries isn’t known.
No suspects are in custody.
