PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police are seeking six males in connection with shots fired on a north Philadelphia street, one of which entered a home and hit a teenage girl watching television.
An off-duty police officer getting into his car saw the six standing outside a home in the Feltonville section “having words” with people further up the block. Several went into a home, and three emerged with guns and began firing up the block. Several fled into a home and alley but weren’t found after a SWAT team secured the residence.
Police reported finding a 17-year-old female gunshot victim who was watching television in the front bedroom of a home when a projectile came through the second-floor window and hit her in the chest. She was treated at St. Christopher’s hospital and released.
