WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Police in Wilmington say a 15-year-old boy is in stable condition after being shot in the legs.

Wilmington police said in a statement that officers arrived at a home early Tuesday morning and found the teen suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper legs. He was treated there and then taken to a hospital.

The boy told officers he was shot at a different location in Wilmington. The officers went to that location and found evidence of a shooting. No information about a suspect or motive was immediately released.



WDEL reports the shooting is Wilmington’s 110th of 2017.
