EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - The Lane County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating a death at an Oregon country club.

The Register-Guard reports (https://bit.ly/2tmZQXG ) emergency crews were called to the Eugene Country Club Monday morning.

Eugene police spokeswoman Melinda McLaughlin says the death “appears to have been an accident,” but the official manner and cause of death have not yet been determined.



Eugene police did not release the identity of the person who died, pending notification of relatives.

Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Administration spokesman Aaron Corvin said Monday OSHA is investigating the case, which was opened with JB Instant Lawn Inc.
