Police: 10-year-old boy shot and killed at Atlanta

ATLANTA (AP) - Police say 10-year-old boy has been fatally shot at an apartment complex in Atlanta.

Atlanta Police Department spokeswoman Lisa Bender tells news outlets the Tuesday shooting is being investigated. She had no details about what happened.

Residents of the complex told WSB-TV the boy’s parents were not with him at the time of the shooting.

The boy was taken to a hospital, where he died. His identity had not been released.
