PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police say a fourth man has been gunned down in the city’s Germantown section in the last two days.

The latest victim is a 30-year-old man left fighting for his life in Temple University Hospital. Police say another man walked up to him about 12:30 a.m. Thursday and fired several shots into his neck, torso and groin. Police are hoping the area, which is lined with businesses, will produce some surveillance video.

Thursday’s shooting comes a day after one man was fatally shot and two critically wounded in three separate shootings early Wednesday.

Democratic State Rep. Stephen Kinsey is hosting a public safety meeting with a neighborhood association, police and others Thursday night to address the shootings and some recent armed robberies in the neighborhood.
