BELLEVUE, Neb. (AP) - A Bellevue city councilman has been found not guilty of violating electrical license requirements for a building he owns.
The Omaha World-Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2tuOqBl ) that Pat Shannon was found not guilty on Thursday.
The case focused on who authorized electrical work at Shannon’s building and whose name was on the permits for that work.
Dave Compton of DC Electric says that after his crews finished their work, additional permits were issued in his company’s name without his knowledge.
Shannon’s attorney, Larry Forman, had argued that nothing criminal occurred in the dispute.
