DOVER, Del. (AP) - Police in Delaware say a 65-year-old dance instructor is awaiting extradition from New York on charges of unlawful sexual contact with a teenage boy.

Authorities say a 17-year-old male dance student told them Alexander Boitsov of Hockessin, Delaware, took him to a locker room at a dance school in Dover on June 23. The youth reported that while inside the locker room, he was told to undress, and Boitsov engaged in sexual contact with him.

Dover police obtained a warrant for Boitsov, who was arrested by a fugitive task force on June 28 at the Ellison School of Ballet in New York City.

Boitsov remains in custody in the State of New York while he awaits extradition to Delaware. It was not immediately clear whether he has an attorney.
