PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say one person is in custody and two others are sought in a shooting that left three adults wounded at an apartment on the city’s west side.

Sgt. Jonathan Howard says one of the victims has life-threatening injuries and that witnesses reported there was an argument just before the shooting late Wednesday night.

The victims are described as a 31-year-old man and 52- and 27-year-old women.

Howard says a 26-year-old man has been detained and that a man and a woman are being sought.

No identities were released.

The shooting occurred on the 7100 block of West Indian School Road.
