LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles police say no crime actually occurred in the suspected abduction of a teenage boy that spurred an Amber Alert.

Police say that on Friday night in San Bernardino they found the 31-year-old woman who had allegedly abducted the 16-year-old boy a day earlier.

Police say they have not yet found the boy, but no longer think he was the victim of a crime.

The Amber Alert has been canceled.
