TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police are looking for a dark-colored pickup or SUV that likely has lower body damage from striking and fatally injuring a man in a wheelchair before leaving the scene.

Police say the incident happened late Thursday night on West Irvington Road near South 9th Avenue as the man in the wheelchair crossed Irvington about 90 feet from a crosswalk.

The man was struck by a westbound vehicle that reportedly did not stop or slow down.

His identity wasn’t released.
