TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Police say a 27-year-old man is in the hospital after being stabbed twice in the groin.

A 911 call came into Trenton police early Sunday morning that alerted them to reports of a stabbing. Lt. Stephen Varn tells NJ.com (https://bit.ly/2s1a4MR ) the victim got into an argument with another man who stabbed him twice in the groin before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. Varn says the victim was in stable condition Sunday afternoon.



Police say the investigation is ongoing.
