MOSES LAKE, Wash. (AP) - A paraglider who was trapped on a cliff face in Grant County had to be rescued by a military helicopter.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office says a helicopter from the nearby Yakima Firing Range rescued the paraglider from the cliff on Sunday afternoon.

KREM-TV says the paraglider’s name and hometown have not been released. The sheriff’s office says she was flown to a Yakima hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Other details were not immediately available.
