NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Authorities say an ATV driver was killed in a crash that involved two dirt bikes and a car.

The Times-Picayune/Nola.com reports (https://bit.ly/2s7pG1k ) the crash occurred Monday at 8:29 p.m. According to New Orleans police, a Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling down Chef Menteur Highway when the car was struck by the four-wheeler and the dirt bikes at a high speed. Authorities say neither the ATV nor the dirt bikes had their headlights on.

The driver of ATV was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. One dirt-bike rider was transported to the hospital and was listed in critical condition as of Monday night.

The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the crash victim’s name upon completion of an autopsy and notification of family.
