SUTTON, W.Va. (AP) - The body of a missing fisherman has been pulled from Sutton Lake.
According to WOWK-TV (https://bit.ly/2s4fI0H ), Mike Baker of the Braxton County Office of Emergency Services says the body of 64-year-old Joe D. McPherson of Sutton was recovered on Monday.
McPherson’s wife had reported him missing on June 5 after he went fishing at the lake but didn’t return home. His boat was located that night along the shoreline.
The 1,520-acre reservoir on the Elk River is about 70 miles east of Charleston.
