DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Duke will begin a weeklong exhibition tour to the Dominican Republic on Aug. 17.

The school announced details of the trip Tuesday. The Blue Devils will play two exhibition games against the Dominican Republic National Team, first in Santiago on Aug. 20 and then in Santo Domingo on Aug. 23 before returning to North Carolina the following day.

NCAA rules allow Duke as many as 10 team practices ahead of the trip.

It will be Duke’s first international tour since 2011, when the Blue Devils visited China and Dubai.
