FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - A man whose tattoo of Winnie-the-Pooh gave him away to authorities has been sentenced to 150 years to life in prison for forcible rape and other charges.

The Fresno Bee reports (https://bit.ly/2rmzk3d ) 28-year-old Joseph Velasquez was sentenced last week after being found guilty on more than seven counts of sexual assault.

The Tulare County District Attorney’s Office states Velasquez forced his way into a house in 2014 and raped the victim. He was arrested the next day after being identified by his tattoos.

Velasquez must register as a sex offender for life.
