LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles police are searching for the driver of a white Range Rover that crushed several cars parked along a residential street in Hollywood.

Witnesses tell investigators they saw the male driver grab belongings from his destroyed vehicle and run away from the scene of the crash early Tuesday.

No injuries were reported but at least four cars were pancaked in the violent collision. The front end of the Range Rover was completely smashed in.

Resident Erin Vega, whose car was hit, tells KABC-TV that crashes are common on the street. She’s urging the city to install speed bumps or additional signs or lights.
