BREWTON, Ala. (AP) - A school employee in Alabama has been arrested for the second time in less than a month on sexual abuse charges.

Al.com reports (https://bit.ly/2sYnF7w ) that 38-year-old Jason Paul Blaney was arrested last Friday at his home in Jay, Florida, on charges of attempted first-degree sodomy, first-degree sexual abuse and enticing a child.

Blaney has been employed by the Escambia County Board of Education in south Alabama. The newspaper reports that school officials haven’t said whether Blaney is still employed by the school system.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office initially arrested Blaney on May 26 and charged with having sexual contact with a student younger than 19. A spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office has said a student and the student’s parents filed a complaint against Blaney on March 30.
