AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) - Two men who authorities say killed a man found in a shed have been arrested.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that 23-year-olds William Krepps and Vaughn Verdi were charged with possession of a firearm and murder in the death of 27-year-old Chad V. Garner.

The Augusta Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/2ssmYXl) that Garner was found inside a storage building Sunday and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say investigators learned Krepps and Verdi were last seen with Garner and they later located evidence linking them to the killing.

Authorities are looking for 28-year-old Preston Overton. He was last seen with Garner at a Studio 6 motel and is reported missing.

It’s unclear if Verdi and Krepps have lawyers.
