WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - Charges have been filed against a Williston man in connection with the death of another man whose body was found in a car on the Williston State College campus.

Authorities allege Dustin Pitman on June 6 drove 27-year-old Thomas Ober to campus, called police to report an unresponsive man and then left.

A preliminary investigation indicated Ober died of a drug overdose. He was not a student at the college.

KMOT-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2szYX0b) that Pitman faces felony and misdemeanor drug charges, along with felony counts of reckless endangerment and tampering with evidence. Court documents don’t list an attorney for him. He’s scheduled to enter pleas July 13.
