PHOENIX (AP) - Members of Arizona’s congressional delegation say they’re extending their thoughts and prayers to those injured and involved in the shooting outside Washington in which several people were wounded.

And several of the members are thanking Capitol Police officers for their service.

Republican Rep. Martha McSally says in several Twitter posts that Americans need to be united and have discussions in a civil way without what she calls “poisonous political rhetoric.”
