MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Montana authorities have identified the two people killed in a crash on Interstate 90 near Missoula as 22-year-old Deborah Alteneder and 22-year-old Joshua Creel.

The two died in a crash Tuesday morning involving a truck and a car.

Granite County Sheriff Scott Dunkerson tells the Missoulian (https://bit.ly/2ry4cZP ) that Alteneder, the driver, was from Missoula and Creel was from Liberty, Indiana.

The accident remains under investigation. But the initial investigation indicates the eastbound passenger car Alteneder and Creel were in lost control, went across the median and hit a westbound semitrailer.

The truck driver was not seriously hurt.
