CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (AP) - A 41-year-old female correctional officer has been charged with institutional sexual assault involving a 22-year-old male inmate at a Pennsylvania jail.
Pennsylvania State Police say they were notified June 7 of “sexually based incidents” at the Franklin County Jail between a guard and an inmate.
Police arrested the guard Wednesday. She has since been released on $75,000 bail.
Her preliminary hearing is set for June 20.
No further details have been release by state police in Chambersburg investigating the case.
