NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities are investigating the deaths of two men killed in separate stabbings in New York City.

Police responding to an emergency call on Saturday afternoon found a man inside a car parked on a Brooklyn street. He had multiple stab wounds to his chest, and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities identified him as Amir Mercado, 24, of Brooklyn.

Another man was found stabbed in the chest in Queens around 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Beach Channel Drive. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and no identification has been released.



No arrests have been made in either case.
