WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - The driver involved in a deadly truck crash off a bridge in North Carolina has been charged in the case.

The Winston-Salem Journal reported (https://bit.ly/2rMIHsw) that 50-year-old Shan Delano Price of Winston-Salem has been charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle, driving left of the center line and other traffic charges.

Forty-five-year-old Kenneth Dewayne Joyner was in the truck Price was driving when it ran off a bridge over U.S. 52 on May 12.

Police said Price was driving a delivery truck when he crossed the center line and crashed through a guard rail. Joyner died four days later.

Price’s son was also in the truck and was hurt.

It was not known if Price has an attorney.
