PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A Pennsylvania man who admitted to making child pornography will spend 30 years in prison.

Twenty-seven-year-old Norman Ridgeway, of Croydon, was sentenced Thursday. Croydon pleaded guilty to producing child pornography, transporting child pornography and possessing child pornography in February.

Prosecutors say Ridgeway forced a 3-year-old to do sex acts which he recorded and then sold online. Officials say the abuse occurred from January 2016 to March 2016.

Prosecutors say when FBI agents tried to arrest Ridgeway he fled and destroyed evidence. Officials say they found over 2,000 explicit pictures and videos. Prosecutors say Ridgeway asked an associate to destroy more evidence when he was detained.

A judge ordered Ridgeway to pay a $2,300 fine and serve 20 years of supervised release as part of his sentence.
