PHILADELPHIA (AP) - One man is dead and another wounded in separate shootings in Philadelphia.

Both shootings occurred late Sunday.

The man who was killed was shot about 11 p.m. in the city’s Kensington section. Witnesses tell police he was standing in the street with his girlfriend and another friend when a man walked up and shot him point plant without warning.

In the other shooting, also late Sunday, police say a man was shot four times by a man who jumped out of the bushes in the city’s Frankford section. The girlfriend of that victim tells police she thinks her ex-boyfriend is responsible.

That man was shot four times but remains in stable condition at an unspecified hospital.

Police haven’t released the victims’ names or announced any arrests.
