BOSTON (AP) - Police say an 8-year-old girl was grazed by a bullet during a series of gunshots in Boston.

Boston Police Commissioner Bill Evans says the girl was outside an apartment complex just after midnight Sunday with several others. Evans says a gray Infinity drove by the buildings and fired 15 rounds into the crowd.

The girl was found with two graze wounds to her shoulder and side.

The girl has been taken to a hospital for treatment. She is expected to be released Monday.

Evans says children should not have to worry about getting shot.

No arrests have been made, and police are searching for anyone with information on the shooting.
