REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (AP) - A Delaware woman was arrested after punching another woman in the face over a Rehoboth Beach parking spot.

The Wilmington News-Journal reports (https://delonline.us/2sIViMU ) that 20-year-old Nakala Spencer was arrested on Saturday after hitting a woman who tried to pull into a parking spot Spencer was trying to save. Police say Spencer lost her temper, and punched the woman.

Police say the woman tried to pull into a parking space where Spencer was standing at about 6:30 p.m. Police say Spencer refused to move despite a Rehoboth Beach ordinance forbidding the practice of saving spaces, and punched the woman, throwing her phone to the ground. Police say Spencer fled the scene, but officers were quickly able to find and arrest her.

Spencer has been released on a $1,000 bond.
