CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Two men have been sentenced to 50 years in prison after being convicted of killing a man in a shootout in South Carolina in 2015.

The Post and Courier of Charleston reported (https://bit.ly/2sd85IE ) that 23-year-old Justin Martel Wilson and 30-year-old Marvin Donte Bryan were convicted of murder and attempted murder.

Twenty-eight-year-old Franklin Othell Williams Jr. was killed Nov. 22, 2015, in a shootout between a group of men in a van and a group of men in a car in North Charleston.

Two other men are awaiting charges in Williams’ death. They are 23-year-old Keith Lamont Evans Jr. and 22-year-old Daqian Henry Gilliard. Both Evans and Gilliard testified against Wilson and Bryan.

A fifth man faces an accessory charge.

Prosecutors think Wilson fired the shot that killed Williams.
