DOVER, Del. (AP) - One man has died and a second has serious injuries after a shooting in Delaware.

The Dover Police Department says officers were called around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a shooting at Pine Grove Apartments. Police said in a statement that when they arrived they found a man who appeared to have been shot in the upper body and was seated in a vehicle.

Police said the man was taken to a hospital but that he was pronounced dead a short time later. Police identified him as 21-year-old Dequan Dukes.



Police say that a second man arrived at the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Police say the 25-year-old is being treated for his injuries.

Police say the case remains under investigation.
