YORK, Pa. (AP) - Police say an “innocent” woman has been gunned down In the crossfire between two groups outside a Pennsylvania grocery store.

York police say 49-year-old Elizabeth Vega-Tirado was killed about 3:40 p.m. Tuesday outside Bev’s Grocery, a corner market in this south-central Pennsylvania city.

Police believe two groups of people were shooting at each other when the victim was hit.

Neighbors say gunfire is common in that area of the city.

Police have been reviewing surveillance video but have yet to name any suspects or announce any arrests.
