SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) - The lawyer for one of three Pennsylvania teenagers accused of causing the death of a policeman during a chase says the trial should be moved.

The Times-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/2tjX9Z4 ) public defender Robert Trichilo said in court Tuesday that 19-year-old Isiah Edwards and his two 19-year-old co-defendants, Tanner Curtis and Nasiir Jones, can’t get a fair trial in Lackawanna County.

Deputy District Attorney Jennifer McCambridge says the trial shouldn’t be moved and jurors shouldn’t be selected from other counties because impartial jurors were found in past cases.

Prosecutors say the three teens fled from Scranton police after a 2015 armed robbery. Authorities say Patrolman John Wilding died after falling from a retaining wall during the chase.

All three teens are charged with second-degree murder and murder of a law enforcement officer.
