LEHIGHTON, Pa. (AP) - A toddler has died a day after being found unresponsive in a relative’s pond in northeastern Pennsylvania.

An autopsy was planned Wednesday on the body of 20-month-old Leo Clements III, of Parryville.

The boy was discovered in the water about 11 a.m. Monday in Franklin Township, Carbon County. That’s about 50 miles (80.5 kilometers) south of Scranton.

The boy died Tuesday afternoon at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

The state police are investigating, but Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim says the death isn’t considered suspicious.
