ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Prosecutors have released a video that shows panicked workers and customers fleeing a shooting inside a mall in upstate New York.

The video inside an Apple Store at the Crossgates Mall near Albany on Nov. 12 shows workers and customers running to the back of the store, some trampling each other. No one was hurt in the gunfire.

Prosecutors say the gunman, Tasheem Maeweather, of Albany, opened fire on rival gang members after one punched him

According to the Albany Times-Union (https://bit.ly/2snH0xL ), Maeweather was sentenced on Friday to 3 ½ to 7 years in prison after being convicted of reckless endangerment.

His defense lawyer argued his client wasn’t a gang member and that police got the wrong man.

Maeweather is currently serving nine years in prison for a parole violation.
