LYNN, Mass. (AP) - Authorities in Massachusetts say a woman trespassing on the tracks at a commuter rail station was hit and killed by a train.

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Transit Police say the woman in her 40s was struck around 100 yards south of the platform at Lynn Commuter Rail station shortly before 6 p.m. Friday in Lynn.

Authorities say foul play is not suspected. The woman has not been identified.



Authorities are investigating.
