PLYMOUTH, Mass. (AP) - A Massachusetts nuclear power plant has been cited for a security issue.

The Patriot Ledger reports (https://bit.ly/2tsjTGH ) the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth will have the undisclosed security violation noted on its next quarterly report.

According to a letter from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, there was a security issue in March that was identified by plant owner Entergy Corp. Officials say details of the violation is being withheld because of its sensitive nature.

NRC spokesman Neil Sheehan says Entergy addressed vulnerabilities at the plant and added the issue to the company’s corrective action program. Federal investigators labeled the violation a low safety risk.
